What’s New — Beachcombing in Gibsons

BCMSUMMER15.When Bruno Gerussi, as log salvager Nick Adonidas, chugged off into the sunset aboard his trusty Persephone 25 years ago, neither he nor anyone connected with The Beachcombers could have predicted the legacy he would leave in his wake. Airing over 19 seasons, the series maintains the title of the longest-running Canadian TV show in history. And although the credits rolled for the last time on December 12, 1990, the allure of its real star, the seaside village of Gibsons, lives on.
